"Omen", settimo disco in studio dei Soulfly, segna un nuovo capitolo nella storia della storia della band di Max Cavalera e dell’heavy metal. “Omen”, registrato con il produttore Logan Mader (Cavalera Conspiracy, Gojira, DevilDriver) agli Edge Of The Earth Studios di Hollywood, è ancora più violento, sia per quanto riguarda le liriche sia per quanto concerne la musica. Questo lavoro avvicinerà i fan alla band come mai in passato. “Omen”, infatti, esalta tutti gli elementi che il pubblico ha amato e apprezzato nei precedenti lavori. Il brano "Rise Of The Fallen" vede Max intento a dirigere linee schizofreniche accompagnato da Greg Puciato dei The Dillinger Escape Plan, mentre "Lethal Injection" è arricchito dalla partecipazione di Tommy Victor, amico di vecchia data e frontman dei Prong.
